Lisbon, here we come!

After a safe win against Osasuna on Saturday (4-0), Real made their way to Munich this morning with La Décima on their minds. 20 players were called up by Ancelotti to face Bayern Munich in the Allianz Arena for the 2nd leg of the Champions League semi-finals (Tuesday, 20:45 CET). The players will have their last training session tonight at 19:00. Real Madrid is currently leading 1-0 with a home goal which might just be the little lead they need tomorrow for their trip to Lisbon on the 24th of May. Of course, the lead means nothing if the teams aren't fully focused on winning.

Both teams have their reasons to win and make history. They will both fight until the end and I wouldn't be surprised if the match would be decided in the last minutes. The team with the right mind of state will win no matter what. That was proven last season at the Signal Iduna Park when Borussia Dortmund faced Malaga for the 2nd leg of Champions League quarterfinal. Everyone was already expecting Malaga to go into the semi-finals, but with strong spirit Dortmund was able to score two amazing goals in the extra time. They kept fighting until the end and showed that with spirit anything was possible. We're gonna look forward to the same kind of fighting tomorrow between the 'Kings of Europe' and the 'Kings of the Cup'.

RIP Tito Vilanova

Former coach of Barcelona lost his second battle against cancer at the age of 45. Vilanova assisted former Barcelona coach Pep Guardialo through one of their most successful period in the club's history. During that time they were able to win the La Liga title three times out of four and even managed to get hold of the Champions league trophy twice in 2009 and 2011.

The football world is mourning for the lost of such an amazing coach that was able to help his club so much while fighting for his life. I wish all the best for his family and friends. It's always sad to lose someone important in your life for such a deathly disease.
